Trek to a place where divinity murmurs in the air! Kedarnath, a
place known as an abode of Lord Shiva captivates you with the
glory it holds. It is a famous Hindu pilgrimage destination
where thousands of devotees from all over the world come in
pursuit to attain ‘Moksha’
- Day 0: DEPARTURE
- Day 1. HARIDWAR
- Day 2. GAURIKUND
- Day 3.KEDARNATH
- Day 4.TUGHNATH AND CHOPTA
- Day 5. BADRINATH
- Day 6. HARIDWAR AND RISHIKESH
Day 0: Departure
- Pickup: Kashmiri Gate, Botanical Garden Metro Station.
- Departure: Kashmiri Gate to Phata.
Day 1: Haridwar
- Reach Haridwar in the morning and take a pit stoppage for 2 hours to attend the Ganga Aarti and explore the local places of Haridwar.
- Later, depart for Phata, taking a stop in Devprayag for lunch and visiting the confluence of the Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, and Ganga rivers.
- Reach Phata in the evening and check into the hotel.
Day 2: Gaurikund
- Wake up early in the morning, freshen up, have breakfast, and check out from the hotel.
- Later, depart for Sonprayag/Sitapur.
- Take a jeep to Gaurikund at your own cost (approximately ₹40-₹50 per person).
- Reach Gaurikund and start the trek to Kedarnath, which is around 19-20 km.
- Reach Kedarnath in the evening. Check into a hotel with basic accommodations, where all rooms are on a quad or penta-sharing basis.
- Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel/camps.
Day 3: Kedarnath
- Wake up in the morning, freshen up, and have breakfast.
- Visit Kedarnath Temple for darshan and prayers. Capture some pictures for memories.
- Visit Bhairav Nath Temple, which is a 2 km trek from Kedarnath Temple.
- Return trek down to Gaurikund.
- Take a jeep to Sonprayag from Gaurikund.
- Reach Sitapur by evening or night, depending on your walking speed.
- Later, depart for Sari.
- Reach Sari. Dinner and overnight stay in the hotel.
Day 4: Tungnath and Chopta
- Wake up in the morning, freshen up, and have breakfast. Check out from the hotel.
- Proceed to Chopta, then start the trek to Tungnath Temple, which is around 4-5 km in distance.
- Reach Tungnath, offer prayers, and later visit Chandrashila Peak, which is around 1 km trek from Tungnath.
- After exploring Chandrashila, trek down to Chopta.
- Reach Gopeshwar, have dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 5: Badrinath
- Wake up early, have breakfast, and check out from the hotel to begin your journey to the holy temple of Badrinath.
- On your journey, you will witness some of the most mesmerizing views.
- Reach Badrinath and check in to your hotel. Today, you will be visiting the Badrinath Temple.
- Take a dip in the Tapt Kund and have the darshan of Badrivishal. Attend the evening Aarti.
- If time allows, visit other interesting sightseeing spots like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, and Bhimkund.
- Return to your hotel for an overnight stay at Joshimath.
Day 6: Haridwar and Rishikesh
- Reach your pickup point in the early morning.
- Arrive in Rishikesh by evening and enjoy the Ganga Aarti (if you reach on time; the Aarti is from 6-7 PM).
- After the Ganga Aarti, depart for Delhi.
How to Reach?
By Air:
Jolly Grant Airport is the airport serving Dehradun, located about 25 km from the city. There is a daily flight from Delhi to Dehradun.
By Train:
Take the overnight train to Dehradun from Delhi.
- Nandadevi Express - Train no: 12205 (Departure 11:50pm; Arrival - 5:40am)
- Dehradun Express - Train no: 12687 (Departure - 9:10pm; Arrival - 5:00am)
By Bus:
Dehradun is well connected to most cities such as Delhi, Shimla, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Agra, and Mussoorie by Volvo, Deluxe, semi-deluxe, and Uttarakhand State Transport buses. These buses arrive and depart from the Dehradun Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) near Clement Town. Buses depart from here every 15 minutes to one hour.
Another bus terminal in Dehradun is the Mussoorie Bus Station, located at the Dehradun Railway Station which has regular bus services to Mussoorie and other nearby cities. Another interstate bus terminal in Dehradun is the Delhi Bus Stand on Gandhi Road.

Note:
Normally Trek Shrek expect to carry your personal luggage on your own, if you wish to offload your backpack, you can give it to Mule.
Charges of offloading backpack:-
INR 1200/- if you make an online payment, 10 days in advance
INR 1500/- if you inform us after reaching Sankri
The backpack cannot weigh more than 11 kgs. Backpack should have waterproof cover. Suitcases/strolleys/ bags will not be allowed.
- Guidelines issued by the State-Government is to be followed.
- Social distancing to be maintained. Frequent hand sanitization and use of mask recommended.
- Rates may fluctuate with any change in services/hotels. The difference in the cost shall be borne by the client in case of any amendment in the package due to an increase in the number of guests, hotel change, etc., before the beginning of the trip.
- The hotels are subject to their availability. In case they are not available, the travellers will be accommodated in a property of similar standard.
- In most hotels Extra Person Sharing the Room, Child with Extra Bed, will be provided MATTRESS / ROLL OVERS as per availability and not a Bed.
- Trek Shrek reserves the right to rearrange the itinerary due to any kind of disturbance that occurred (i.e weather condition, political condition or any others) without changing the total number of days and without compromising any service.
- Trek Shrek shall not be responsible for any change in the itinerary due to strikes, landslides, flight cancellations, weather conditions, government enforcements, or any unforeseen circumstances which are beyond our control. The additional cost incurred will be in addition to the cost and directly payable.
- The vehicle used for transfers is not at disposal and will be available as per the itinerary.

Terms for Cancellation & Refund:
Customer is suppose to make a full payment in advance for the confirm bookings.
If in case a confirmed booking needs to be cancel than below are the refund policies
1. Prior 30 days of the confirmed date, 50% of the total amount would be refunded
2. Prior 25 days of the confirmed date, 40% of the total amount would be refunded
3. Prior 20 days of the confirmed date, 30% of the total amount would be refunded
4. Prior 15 days of the confirmed date, 20% of the total amount would be refunded
5. Prior 10 days of the confirmed date, 10% of the total amount would be refunded
Note: After the said time the Trek Shrek would not be entertaining any cancelation and no amount would be refunded whatsoever.

It is so evident that one has to walk and only walk while Trekking, so it is far more essential to have a good pair of trekking/hiking shoes. Practice walking by wearing your boots before the trek to make yourself used to them. You may opt for an option to keep an extra pair in your bag while trek to help yourself in the opposite condition.
