Himalayas. Winter sweeps alluringly on the slopes here, making Brahmatal one of
the rare Himalayan destinations available for trekking in December, January,
February, and March.

of oaks and rhododendrons to snow-covered meadows, lakeside camping at Bekaltal,
the alpine Brahmatal lake vicinity, and a climactic vision of fabulous high peaks
glittering across a brilliant sky! The Garhwal snowline view is all the more special
from here because rarely are colossal ice-capped peaks like Mt. Nanda Ghunti and
Mt. Trishul are accessible to view on a low-lying trek like this one.

Pick up time 06:00 am at the parking of Kathgodhamrailway station.
Route:- Kathgodam - Bheem Tal - Almora - Kausani -
Dewal - Lohajung
DAY 2: Lohajung to Bekaltal to Brahmatal
9,690 ft, 4-5 hrs trek, 6 km
One third of the trek through village,forest and then bekaltal.
10,450 ft, 6 – 7 hrs trek, 7 km
First 1.3 hours is steep ascent via Bekaltal Lake, then gradual ascent for
Few hours and at last steep descent and then gradual descent till camp.

10 hrs drive.
Drive 210 km.
After morning tea move to Kathgodam
(breakfast and lunch on the way).
Reach Kathgodam by 6:00 pm.
On the way to Kathgodam at Kausani you can buy.
herbal tea and some souvenir.
How to Reach Brahmatal Trek?
The Kathgodam station is one of the main stations in the district and it is an old
station. It has good connectivity to many places and these include Lucknow, Delhi,
and Howrah. Tickets from Delhi to Kathgodam by train cost around Rs. 180 for a
second class sleeper ticket and Rs. 450 for a third A/C sleeper ticket. It is essential to
book the tickets at least one month in advance as this route is always in deman

From Delhi take the Ranikhet Express (5014) Dep. Delhi at 10:40pm arrival
Kathgodam at 5:30am (Overnight Journey) or the Uttar sampark kranti (5035) Dep.
Delhi at 4:00pm arrival Kathgodam at 10:40pm (6 hrs.40min.Journey).
From Dehardun take the Doon Express (4120) Dep. Dehardun at 10:30 pm arrival
By Taxi:-
Drive from Dehradun to Lohajung and from Lohajung back to Dehradun.

Cancellation Policy:
➔ If cancellations are made 30 days before the start
date of the trip, 25% of total tour cost will be
charged as cancellation fees.
➔ If cancellations are made 15-30 days before the
start date of the trip, 50% of total tour cost will be
charged as cancellation fees.
➔ If cancellations are made within 0-15 days before
the start date of the trip, 100% of total tour cost will
be charged as cancellation fees
➔ In case of unforeseen weather conditions or
government restrictions, certain trips or activities
may get cancelled. In such cases operator will try
their best to provide an alternate feasible. However
a cash refund will not be applicable for the same.
➔ Cancellations are strictly subjected to
cancellation

irrespective of the date of booking.
Terms for Cancellation & Refund:
Customer is suppose to make a full payment in advance for the confirm bookings.
If in case a confirmed booking needs to be cancel than below are the refund policies
1. Prior 30 days of the confirmed date, 50% of the total amount would be refunded
2. Prior 25 days of the confirmed date, 40% of the total amount would be refunded
3. Prior 20 days of the confirmed date, 30% of the total amount would be refunded
4. Prior 15 days of the confirmed date, 20% of the total amount would be refunded
5. Prior 10 days of the confirmed date, 10% of the total amount would be refunded
Note: After the said time the Trek Shrek would not be entertaining any cancelation and no amount would be refunded whatsoever.
