    Brahmatal Trek – Located in the Chamoli district of Uttarakhand, the Brahmatal Trek is a perfect choice for trekkers seeking stunning Himalayan views and a peaceful mountain experience. Situated at an altitude of around 12,250 feet, this trek is especially popular as a winter trek and is suitable for beginners. The trail passes through dense oak and rhododendron forests, open alpine meadows, and snow-covered paths during winter months.

    From the Brahmatal summit, trekkers are rewarded with spectacular panoramic views of majestic peaks such as Mt. Trishul, Mt. Nanda Ghunti, and Mt. Chaukhamba. The tranquil Brahmatal Lake, believed to be associated with Lord Brahma, adds a spiritual and serene touch to this adventure, making it a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and calmness.

  • DAY 2 : BRAHMATAL TO BRAHMATAL HIGH POINT AND BACK
  • DAY 3 : BRAHMATAL TO LOHAJUNG
  • DAY 4 : LOHAJUNG TO KATHGODAM

 DAY 0 :KATHGODAM TO LOHAJUNG

  • Altitude 7,662 ft.
  •  Stay in guest house.
  • Drive 210 km (10 hrs drive).
  •  Local market and network is available.
  •  Pick up time 06:00 am at the parking of Kathgodhamrailway station.
  •  Route:- Kathgodam – Bheem Tal – Almora – Kausani –
    Dewal – Lohajung

 DAY 1 : LOHAJUNG TO BEKALTAL TO BRAHMATAL

  •  9,690 ft, 4-5 hrs trek, 6 km
  • One third of the trek through village,forest and then bekaltal.
  •  10,450 ft, 6 – 7 hrs trek, 7 km
  • First 1.3 hours is steep ascent via Bekaltal Lake, then gradual ascent for
    Few hours and at last steep descent and then gradual descent till camp.

  •  Hot lunch/packed lunch, depend on weather and snow condition
  •  No water points, it’s advisable to carry at least 2 liters of water
  •  Very scenic day, can see Shivalik and greater Himalayas both
  •  Go to Brahmatal lake for evening walk, 500 meter far from camp site
  •  Stay in tent

DAY 2 :BRAHMATAL TO BRAHMATAL HIGH POINT AND BACK

  • 12,100 ft, 7-8 hrs trek (to and fro) , 5 km (one way)
  •  Moderate ascent most of the time, few slops have steep ascent
  • No water points, it’s advisable to carry at least 2 liters of water
  •  Lunch on the summit (packed lunch)
  •  360 degree of view from summit
  •  First 180 degree angle covers Chaukhambha, Mandir, Mana, Nilgiri,
    .
    Trishul, Nanda Ghunti, Maitoli all the way to the Panchachuli ranges, rest
    is Shivalik Himalayas

DAY 3 :BRAHMATAL TO LOHAJUNG

  • 7,662 ft, 7-8 hrs, 9 km
  • Gradual and steep mixed descent, very tiring day
  • Spring and manmade water points are available
  • Lunch on the way (packed lunch)
    • Stay in guest house

DAY 4 :LOHAJUNG TO KATHGODAM

  • 10 hrs drive.
  • Drive 210 km.
  • After morning tea move to Kathgodam
    (breakfast and lunch on the way).
  • Reach Kathgodam by 6:00 pm.
  • On the way to Kathgodam at Kausani you can buy.
    herbal tea and some souvenir.

By Air:

Jolly Grant Airport is the airport serving Dehradun, located about 25 km from the city. There is a daily flight from Delhi to Dehradun.

By Train:

Take the overnight train to Dehradun from Delhi.

  • Nandadevi Express – Train no: 12205 (Departure 11:50pm; Arrival – 5:40am)
  • Dehradun Express – Train no: 12687 (Departure – 9:10pm; Arrival – 5:00am)

By Bus:

Dehradun is well connected to most cities such as Delhi, Shimla, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Agra, and Mussoorie by Volvo, Deluxe, semi-deluxe, and Uttarakhand State Transport buses. These buses arrive and depart from the Dehradun Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) near Clement Town. Buses depart from here every 15 minutes to one hour.

Another bus terminal in Dehradun is the Mussoorie Bus Station, located at the Dehradun Railway Station which has regular bus services to Mussoorie and other nearby cities. Another interstate bus terminal in Dehradun is the Delhi Bus Stand on Gandhi Road.

  • The advance amount is non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Respect All Co passengers/Trip captain/Driver – Any misbehaving with them will lead to the termination of your trip without any refund.

  • In case of any breakdown or in delay due to the breakdown of the transport on the way, you would have to wait until the transport gets repaired.
  • We are not responsible for any delays or alterations in the program due to traffic, road construction, or bad weather.
  • Seating in the traveller will be totally our call, failing to comply with our request will result in the cancellation of the trip of that person without any refund.
  • If, due to any unforeseen circumstances, such as Road blockage or Landslide, the trip gets extended for a day or two days, we will not be responsible for the trip extension cost which includes Transportation, Stay, Food, and other cost if any.
  • No drinking or smoking during the journey for the health and safety of all passengers.
  • Misconduct or indiscipline will not be tolerated — we aim to ensure a cordial, hassle-free travel experience.
  • We are not responsible for delays, changes, or expenses due to natural hazards, accidents, machinery breakdowns, weather, landslides, political closures, or other unforeseen incidents.
  • No travel insurance is provided; travelers bear costs for sickness, accidents, theft, or losses.
  • Itinerary changes may occur due to weather, road conditions, or participant fitness, prioritizing safety and comfort.
  • If a group member cancels without notice 48 hours before boarding, remaining members are responsible for their pending payment.
  • Air conditioning will be turned off in hilly areas and during winter (November–March).

Good Shoes-Good Trek

It is so evident that one has to walk and only walk while Trekking, so it is far more essential to have a good pair of trekking/hiking shoes. Practice walking by wearing your boots before the trek to make yourself used to them.
