Dayara Bugyal – Located around 180 km from Dehradun, Dayara Bugyal is one of Uttarakhand’s most beautiful alpine meadows, situated at an altitude of about 12,000 feet. Famous for its vast rolling grasslands and breathtaking views of Himalayan peaks like Bandarpoonch and Draupadi Ka Danda, this trek is perfect for beginners and nature lovers. Walk through dense oak and pine forests, witness panoramic mountain vistas, and experience the serene charm of high-altitude meadows that change colors with the seasons, offering an unforgettable Himalayan escape.
Pick up from Dehradun Railway station at 7.30 a.m. Dehradun is well connected with Delhi through railway and road routes. Overnight Buses and Trains are available.
Meet at Dehradun. Drive from Dehradun to Raithal.
Drive to Raithal via Uttarkashi
Arrive at Raithal village, a small village located 20 km above the city of Uttarkashi which serves as the starting point of the trek. Stay at the homestay in Raithal.

Dinner and rest at the homestay.

Raithal to Gui – 5 km trek.
After breakfast, begin the excursion from Raithal to Gui campsite.
Enjoy a 5 km easy-grade ascent trek, passing through beautiful oak forests.
Arrive at Gui Campsite and enjoy a hot lunch at the campsite.
Take part in an evening acclimatization walk to adapt to the altitude.
Evening refreshments and snacks will be served after the walk.
Overnight stay at the campsite, surrounded by serene mountain views.

Summit Day – 7 km trek.
After breakfast, begin a 3.5 km trek from the campsite to Dayara Bugyal.
Enjoy rest time and packed lunch at the Dayara viewpoint, surrounded by panoramic mountain views.
Descend back to Gui Campsite from Dayara Top.
Arrive at the campsite and enjoy dinner at the campsite.
Gui to Raithal, then drive back to Dehradun (approx. 235 km).
After breakfast, descend from Gui campsite to Raithal village via a 5 km downhill trail.
Begin the return journey with a 235 km drive from Raithal to Dehradun, passing through Uttarkashi.
Lunch and evening snacks during the journey will be provided at roadside inns.
The expected arrival time in Dehradun will be between 7:30 PM and 8:00 PM, so you can plan your onward travel accordingly.

Jolly Grant Airport is the airport serving Dehradun, located about 25 km from the city. There is a daily flight from Delhi to Dehradun.
Take the overnight train to Dehradun from Delhi.
Dehradun is well connected to most cities such as Delhi, Shimla, Haridwar, Rishikesh, Agra, and Mussoorie by Volvo, Deluxe, semi-deluxe, and Uttarakhand State Transport buses. These buses arrive and depart from the Dehradun Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) near Clement Town. Buses depart from here every 15 minutes to one hour.
Another bus terminal in Dehradun is the Mussoorie Bus Station, located at the Dehradun Railway Station which has regular bus services to Mussoorie and other nearby cities. Another interstate bus terminal in Dehradun is the Delhi Bus Stand on Gandhi Road.

It is so evident that one has to walk and only walk while Trekking, so it is far more essential to have a good pair of trekking/hiking shoes. Practice walking by wearing your boots before the trek to make yourself used to them.
